About Cambridge Conservation Forum
We strengthen links and develop collaborations between conservation practitioners and researchers in and around Cambridge to make a positive impact for biodiversity conservation.
Over 70 organisations, whose primary focus is the conservation of biodiversity, are currently members of CCF. They include non-governmental organisations, government agencies, university departments and consultancies. We are run by volunteer representatives of these members, who make up the committee and council. Find out more about how we operate here.
Our members also organise several groups, which are open to all and aim to bring together conservationists with similar interests from across our membership. You can find out more about our groups here.
CCF is a founding member of Cambridge Conservation Initiative (CCI), which grew out of long-standing collaborations between several CCF member organisations. These organisations remain important contributing members of CCF, and forge more formal working arrangements in collaborative projects as part of CCI.
Membership is open to:
- not-for-profit organisations
- institutions involved in conservation policy, practice and research
- for-profit organisations whose main activity is biodiversity conservation
- individuals with an active interest in conservation research, policy or advice but who are not already part of a member organisation
